The summer before Zeb turned 18, something incredible happened. He found the thing he had been looking for his entire life, but it wasn't where he thought it would be. It wasn't in music, it wasn't in popularity, and it wasn't in a girl. He found it in God.

It may sound pretty boring to others, but to Zeb the realization of God was the realization of his whole purpose in life. Finally everything made sense, and finally he had something to live for. All those years spent chasing after his own selfish dreams would finally come to an end and he would begin a new journey into the beautiful and mysterious heart of God. The life of love, purpose, and adventure he longed for had finally come.

6 years later, Zeb is now 24 years old, married, and has had his fair share of life come his way. And with those years have come a lot of mistakes, heartaches, and lessons learned. Yet through it all he has this to say about God from one of his songs:

"June, almost July.. Can you believe 3 years have come and gone right by. You have proved so true, now I see and understand you're here for good" ~ Betrothed

It's God's love, faithfulness, and goodness that inspires Zeb to sing. They're not sugar-coated songs either… they're real. Zeb's lyrics express the same kinds of struggles that exist in real life relationships… the lovesickness, the tension of the now and not yet, the laying down one's self for the other. It's that realness and intimacy in the songs that he writes that is so refreshing to hear.

Zeb hopes that God will continue to use his music to encourage, comfort, and convict the hearts of those who listen in. One day he plans to pursue music full-time as a songwriter and worship leader, and has recently released his first self-recorded album "Heroes & Kings".
